Extradite in California?

Question by MizzTavarez: extradite in california?
my mom got aresested in california in 1999, she got out in 2000 (small drug charge) moved here in new mexico a few months from being released. never reported(which was wrong of her) The cops here in this town are culos. They tend to pull her over for anything they can think of. (note:mymom is little not there, so she doesnt think about things alot. so cops dont like her because of her history.) Well when they pulled her over before, they new she had the warrant and said california wouldnt extradite. now like two yrs later they got her for not fully stopping at a stop sign and now they say california wants to extradite. my ? is how did they know when its the weekend and will california actually do it. like i said these cops are culos. my mom isnt the greastest but they like to pick on her. and not even a month ago they pulled her over for the same thing and they didnt say anything before? why now..
PLEASE NO BASHING EITHER IM STRESSED ENOUGH
for one, we live in a small town and i didnt say my mom is frikkin perfect, so if you have something rude keep it to your d*m self! the cops pull anyone over for anything and they constantly passing by her house and harrasing her by following her! I know i get nervous about it , so she probably does.and her charge was selling 20 dollars worth of weed! i knowshe did wrong but these cops do harass her because, and beleive me she isnt always on my good side. so i asked a question, dont tell me other things that i know. so fk off, especiall those who are pass cops because i know most of you are culos anyways. so answer the damn question, will they extradite her! What are the chances.

even if it’s the weekend they can get that info from the internet… if california wants to extradite her then they will… why does your mom not follow driving rules? if she keeps getting stopped then she must be doing something wrong…
anyways, state rules change and it is possible for them to want to extradite her now… she may want to contact legal services and who knows maybe they’ll just give her probation which can be transferred to another state…

When we get an NCIC hit on a warrant from out of state we contact the originating agency and check to see if they will extradite from out facility. If yes then we arrest based on the warrant. If no we tell the subject to go on their way and get the warrant taken care of. Weekend or not there is always someone in the out of state department that can authorize extradition.

I hope this helps

With the additional info you have provided then yes I do believe they will extradite.
