I’ve gone to two shows at Rainbow. Avenged Sevenfold back in 2007 and A Day To Remember earlier this year.

Like you I was super nervous going there and so was my mom about me going there. I was like, 15 back when I went to my first show there. I remember leaving the show about a song before Avenged Sevenfold left there set and as I walked out of the venue being overwhelmed by the smell of pot.

There IS security though. You WILL get patted down before you enter the venue. No cameras or studded belts are allowed. They separate the line into two right before they start letting people in. One for girls and one for guys, so just be aware of that. There is also security inside the venue. Especially at the front, between the stage and the crowd. They do serve alcohol at the bar, there is also a small restaurant.

I have not seen ANY gang members outside the venue…at all..so I don’t know where you got that from.

And about the drug dealers all I have to say is, if your looking to buy them, then you’ll find them. But that’s the case at ALL shows, not just at Rainbow. I’ve been to so many now, I’ve lost count.

I’m not a fan of Attack! Attack!, but I was thinking of going for some other bands that are playing with them!

Anyway, have fun and don’t be all over paranoid! There’s a lot of people there and it’s not as ghetto as you think. It’s better than how The Exit aka The Belmont was.
