Make the Connection: Adolescent Chemical Dependency Treatment and Recovery – This video is aimed at parents and others concerned about adolescents who have problems with substance abuse. The film describes adolescent addiction and treatment in interviews by parents, adolescents, and treatment providers. This video was updated from the original version produced in 2007 by the Washington State Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (now Division of Behavioral Health & Recovery), funded by the national Center for Substance Abuse Prevention. The video was updated in May 2012 to add current contacts for the Washington State Recovery Help Line and other resources.
