My 17 1/2 year old son takes many pills and smokes green. It may be screweing up his college opportunities, which is something he wants. He has a religious background but has chosen to be an atheist. He also has a high IQ and a fiance. Outpatient services didn’t work for him, but he did find a coke dealer in a weeklong facility (fortunately not a drug he uses).

The Seed Indeed- Part 1 – The Seed was an experimental drug rehabilitation program located in Broward and Dade county Florida in the 70’s. The Seed was operated by Art Barker who was a recovering alcoholic and failed stand up comedian. Using some of the basic principles of AA and incorporating peer pressure group-cult techniques, he manipulated many parents into submitting their children into a program with no proven results. Run by former drug addicts and court ordered felons, the program quickly lost its financial support when the exaggerated claims of success were made public and questions about the programs methods came under scrutiny. My 28 year old cousin has been abusing alcohol, marijuana, and cocaine for 15 years. Just as things seemed to be getting better, he quit his job (the best thing that’s happened to him in 28 years). He also suffers from Depression and Bipolar Disorder.
I have been researching Christian Drug and Alcohol inpatient treatment centers, and came across Teen Challenge. I’m curious as to whether or not the majority of people have had good or bad experiences coming out of this program.

I need to find a Inpatient Drug Rehab Program that has a payment program or price goes by your income. I have absolutely NO INSURANCE and i am not rich so i cant pay 20,000 for a program.
