im doing a research project on drug addiction and i need help with the subtopics..
my thesis question is “is drug addiction a disease?”
and we have to seperate the pros and cons..
so the pro is yes it is a disease
and the con is no it is not a disease..

Drug abuse is generally not the problem but the symptom of the problem. Problem being mentall illness, history of abuse, depression etc.

My brother started doing drugs at 17 to age 22 he is now 23 has a job and a baby.. He has been diagnosed with schitzoaffective.. Its wen ur bipolar and skitzo at the same time… He use to be a really cool person before drugs.. He was really popular in high school and he was just a great person.. Now hes really different.. Hes dellusional.. Weird.. Awkwardly social.. And hes really slow.. He doesnt have any common sense at all… His gf n the baby live with us and they fight all the time.. Shes not mentally ill at all so when he says something weird she yells at him trying to explain everything.. They always fight and the gf always says tgings like “hello that doesnt even makes stupid!” Sometimes she tells me that she cant take it anymore and that she cant be with him for the rest of her life and it makes me really sad to think that if his mental illness doesnt get better he’ll probably end up alone.. He just atarted takung saphris tonight so i hope this works for him

I live in kansas city and The other day, I woke up and realised I had my physics project due in. So I left for school 2 hours early and went to the Starbucks, not to close from school I ordered 4-5 grande caramel macchiatos and did my project, on schrodingers cat but anyways. My teacher walked in saw me we talked for a minuet or so then he left. When I got to school I had physics first period, I got there and was shaking and could not stop. My teacher took me to the nurse and told her that I had drank way to much coffee, then I had completely crashed and was sent home. Now they have put me on an addiction program at the school, most of the kids there smoke weed, I swear I’m not an addict I have maybe 9 coffees a day but there instant and not very strong what should I do?

My 19 year old son is a heroine addict while I’m still paying child support . I don’t have custody of my child, but i pay child support for him to begin community college. Obviously, he can’t continue school under his conditions. So does anyone know if there is a way for me to legally stop paying child support in order to have money to help my child get into a good rehab center. The amount of child support i’m paying prohibits me from fully supporting my son. Is there anyway i can bring his heroine addiction to court for a reason to stop paying child support.I live in NJ.
Please refrain from complaining about the child support cutoff being at age eighteen in your state. It is simply not the same case in NJ.
I was never married to the mother of my son, so there were no divorce decree’s to look upon.
My son needs help which he can find at a rehabilitation center, and he’s wasting time ” going to college.” ( he’s only attended twice.)
