I dont but im a drug addict (recovered at this point). that sucks. I would emphasize that its ultimately his decision but that he has to choose it to keep his family and friends. Try not to judge him for it as he will be defensive already. Just mention a time when he wasnt high that you really enjoyed his company. Good luck to him and to your best friend.

Question by Shooting Star: Do most stores in California perform drug tests, background checks, and credit checks to hire someone?
More specifically stores like, Costco, Staples, Best Buy, Office Max, Office Depot, Macy’s, Walmart.
But do they do all of these tests in order to determine who to hire?
Or is it required for these kind of department stores to perform these tests in California?
What if you have bad credit? Does that make an employer not want to hire you?
